Yoga for Surfers Retreat

Would you like to enhance your yoga with some surf exhilaration? Do you desire to improve your surfing with some yoga training? Do you like to mix adventures? Come. Experience a surfers haven and find yourself led through yoga routines that address the body needs of a surfer.

Two yoga classes a day will be offered. Times will be based around tides allowing ample time to get in some deserved surf sessions between trainings, wave permitting of course! This retreat can orientate anyone looking to bring yoga into their life or can challenge those experienced wanting to intensify their practice. Surfers and non-surfers welcome. (Maximum occupancy 10 people, minimum 8 people)

We will especially help with the transport of surf boards from San Jose to Pavones. Some restrictions apply.

Primary Series Ashtanga Tropical Retreat

For anyone, beginners or advanced wanting to learn or deepen their personal practice of Ashtanga yoga in the full Primary Series. There will be two classes offered daily with time in between for adventures and tours or simple relaxation. Accommodations are limited in space, so come and enjoy intimacy and personal attention. (max. occupancy 14 people, minimum 10 people)

Primary Series Ashtanga Tropical Retreat Package includes:

Pavones Package

For those who want to make their own way to Pavones this package does not include accomodation in San Jose or air transfer to and from San Jose to Golfito

Participants meet with Amy at the Golfito airstrip at a specified time upon the rest of the group's flight arrival from San Jose.

Self-practice for the Inward Bound

This retreat was inspired by the Inward Bound folks at the Friends Center. Aimed at the self-aware yoga core who wish to intensify their self-practice within the fellowship of a group: Together sharing flow of movement and breath with intention and integrity through our Ashtanga Practice. Training will be offered 2 times daily with time to explore, adventure and relax in between sessions. (Accommodations are limited to maximum 14 people, minimum 12 people)

Self-practice for the Inward Bound Retreat package includes:
